Someone stealing our work...
« on: January 20, 2017, 01:32:06 pm »
Hi,

That argentinian guy is stealing our work, uploading backing tracks to his site and sharing the files on youtube, not crediting the real author.
At least, 3 of my Backing Tracks are in the site.
He don't answer my asks for credits.

For the future, could he be banned from the site? I suposse is dificult knowing who is he, but... asking for something is for free.

Thank you.

You can always post on the videos on his Youtube channel to let everyone know that those tracks are yours.  You can also post the link to your backing tracks here that he stole.  If enough people see it, they'll abandon a thief and go to you instead.  That's what I would do.

I have a few backing tracks I created ONLY on here, are popping up on Youtube, and I have made comments on the videos, and some of the backing tracks are 15 years old, but only uploaded here in the last 5 years or so

Andrew Guitar is swiping our tracks and claiming them as their own.
