Request Backing Tracks / Re: Pink Floyd, "The Embryo"

The Endless River was a pile of crap, imho...just a bunch of outtakes from The Division Bell, really, and a terrible way for the band to end it's career.

"The Embryo" was a piece which was only released on a Harvest compilation album (called "Picnic- A Breath Of Fresh Air") and also a BBC session which was used on "Works", as well as the box set. It was frequently played in their earlier setlists along with "Green Is The Colour", "Careful With That Axe, Eugene", etc...basically from 1968-1972.

Hi all !
I've taken some time and created a backing track of the *ENTIRE* album of Pink Floyd's "Dark Side Of The Moon" using specifically backing tracks from this site - and also some samples from the original album....(I've left "On The Run" out with a fade out for the beginning and a fade in for the ending - it's a blank space, so you could simply improvise something or insert it yourself.)

I'm not sure what size files this site can hold (it's at 38.5 MB at the moment in an MP3Pro format) , so I don't know if I should upload it here or put it on something like Soundcloud or Youtube. Also, the only method for crediting I can give to the creators of the backing tracks is with their usernames...which I will put in the description. (Thanks for all your hard work, folks !) The only written credit I'll be taking is for production/engineering of the thing.  It's been a fun and challenging project for sure.

Obviously, it doesn't sound EXACTLY like the original album...but it works quite well to jam along with.

Request Backing Tracks / Re: Syd Barrett/Pink Floyd Request

hahaha thanks !

For those who don't "get it",
"Have You Got It Yet" was Syd's last "contribution" to the band (aside from what they ended up writing about him which basically built their careers)...Syd just kept changing the chords when he was showing it to the band members, which basically made Roger Waters put his bass down and say "Ok, I've got it". The song, of course, was never recorded...and Syd's time with the band was up soon after.

"And what exactly is a joke ?"
 ;)

Will someone PLEASE create a bass, keyboard, and drums (no guitar, no vocals) backing track of Pink Floyd's "The Embryo"? Preferably based on a live performance instead of the studio version...Thanks !
