Title: Conversing with your guitar? do you ever talk to him?
Post by: Tito Juan on March 05, 2020, 12:17:08 pm
well, I have not had many and always in second hand, is what there is
but I tried to establish a peer-to-peer deal
With the last one I was lucky, it has given me the best moments
when I get home, the first thing I did was observe her
10 minutes or so and then I stood her in the bedroom
leaning on the wall so that he was getting to know his new home
We looked sideways at the beginning in silence, I began to study it
the wood, the brightness, the resonance, the touch ... without touching it
Then our first conversation began, I said hello ... my name is Juan
How are you? ... I had good vibes with her ... we were feeling for a while
talking about this and that ....
I believe that if you treat a guitar as a mere object you will not get the best out of yourself
A guitar can tell you many things without touching it or plugging it in ...
mutual knowledge can be the first step to know the limitations of each
and strengths..and define a joint work strategy accordingly ..
and above all that perceives the heat and interest and respect you have for her ..
This is how our relationship began that dates back to about 5 years (about 20 with the previous one)
and that so many fruits has given, I really did not expect it ... !!

PD sometimes I think the instrument is not her, it's me ...
