Hi
« on: November 12, 2009, 08:31:51 PM »

Hi,

I have just joined and am just about to start and learn the guitar. The better half has bought me a guitar for chrimbo but apparently "you can`t have it until father christmas brings it" Roll Eyes

After a bit of search and a lot of questions I have decided to go for this stater pack

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250524529525&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

Comments are welcome on the guitar.

I`ve join for hopefully in time the backing tracks will come in handy but really to find if anyone has some good info for a beginner like me.
Good websites, books, dvds and the best way to learn.

Any help I would be most grateful.
My reason for starting the guitar was when I was 7 I got given a acoustic but never got round to playing it. I think the most I did on it was ba ba black sheep!!

I`ve just come back from 2 weeks in the Caribbean and while there I read the book SLASH. I`m a huge fan of GnRs, Foo Fighters, Green Day etc and after reading the book on my return decided it was the time to learn and eventually start banging a few GnR riffs out (he hopes)

Thanks in advance for the replies and as said above any help would be grateful.

Thank You.
