Hi, I am a newbie in one sense and an oldbie in the sense that I am 102....well okay divide by two. This is site is an absolute godsend...but whilst I understand the limitations imposed by the copyright issue of known tracks i.e. songs, what about the use of the generic Jam tracks, such as
Blues 6/8 in C for example.

I am only proposing that these might come under the same sort of usage rules as 'loops' or credit can be given to the folks who made the particular jam BT. What I wish to do is post on a site like MacJams a couple of Jams that I did using a couple of the jamtracks ....I actually amazed myself at the difference between playing along to a well crafted  sound recording rather than a freaking drum box ...and I want to share it with me mates on Macjams....please go on say it's okay.....then I will be a good little old man ...

p.s it will encourage some of that lot to come round here too !

Hi Jarvoid,

feel free to post your versions of the Jamtracks on other sites. The submitters have agreed to share the tracks with that in mind. All I ask is that you refer to this site as a source for the backing tracks.
