My set up is more for recording as I don't have the patience anymore for live situations.
But here goes:
Guitars (3)
I usually build my own from my favorite parts.
Warmoth Strat stuff (Bodies,Necks)
Floyd Trems or Hardtails.
Emg's but have some of those cheap Pre wired pickguards from ebay and I feel they sound excellent for the money!
I do have a totally stock Ibanez RG Premium in the Liquid Lava finish thats very nice
and I have all my strat necks built by Warmoth with an Ibanez/Jackson flat feel
neck (Wizard cut)

Amp
Fender CyberTwin 1-Excellent array of Tones and Effects but sadly disconntinued, great for studio though.

Pedals
MXR carbon copy delay
BBE Soulvibe
Rotosim
JOYO pedals-Extreme Metal,6 EQ, Compressor, California, Vintage OD
Bad Horsie Wah

Heres a video showing some of the above

Hi !

I own a ´87 Ibanez RG550 (Flare Red), Squier Strat (nice, but not as good as the original) and a cheap bass guitar.
My Mesa/Boogie Mk IV combo is rarely played because I found the virtual Amps from Scuffham !
Sounds incredible !!  http://www.scuffhamamps.com

I me personally own a couple of guitars: 2 acoustic/spanish, some sort of Ibanez RG, Fender Strat along with a Ibanez Ergodyne EDC 700 bass.
Furthermore, I use 2 Behringer V-AMP Professional (Bass and Guitar) and also some stompboxes. A 12 channel mixer, compressor/stereo gate (TC Electronic C300) as well as some kind of Alesis Midiverb III. They are associated via some kind of EMU-0404 to my computer. I utilize Reaper since my DAW.
And like the website owner, I use a headphone due of my kids as well as friends.

New here so this is what I am using for all writing and recording.
Guitars:
BMG Red Special. OK, OK, OK....... I know what you're all thinking  ;D I use this as it is easily the most versitile guitar that I could find for the money, the only mod I have made is that it now runs a Piezzo Bridge so that I can get a decent Acoustic sound without having to faff around with changing guitars.

Acoustic, is an old Martin D18.

Amp that I use for all recording is the new Yamaha THR10. Occasionally I will throw in something from an old Korg AX1500G, but that is rare these days.

Software is Garageband.

Cheers
Rob ;)

once had a 79 tele. it was stolen. i loved that fucking guitar... :'(

i play a 335 these days. 30 yrs of playing and its my first hollowbody.

live: I have a peavy 100 series tube/solid hybrid that i custom wired (rewired?) for more flexibility with my speaker setup (4X10). I use a zoom pedal, which has decent distortion and fx.

recording: i use amp sims: pod farm, th2, Amplitube, but mostly Vandal and Guitar Rig for distortion, pod farm for clean and/or trippy. i record into Reaper and master with ozone in Audition. cheers! love the site
